We are open and excited to see everyone back in the gym. There are a few changes to allow for us to ensure social distancing and time to clean before class.

  1. You will need to book a spot prior to coming to the gym. We have 16 spots available in each class at both gyms.

  2. Class times have changed to allow for cleaning between classes. See new class times below.

  3. To ensure everyone gets their bag time they have been missing at home, every workout includes bag work. Don’t worry strength training is worked in as well. Same great workout - new format to accommodate our new normal.

  4. If you are a past member looking to come back - we have several membership options available including a single class pass, 10 class pack or six month unlimited classes - see all membership options .

What to Expect

 

We know safety is on your minds. It’s on ours, too, and you’ll find that we intend to exceed the expectations. We’re doing everything we can to make sure you and our entire community is as safe as possible. With that in mind we will have a reduced number of class times with more time between classes to allow for us to thoroughly disinfect between classes. You will need to book your spot ahead of time using the Mind Body app - read instructions here.

New Class Times

 

We are working under a modified schedule to make sure we have enough time between classes for cleaning and to manage the amount of people in the facility. 

  • 5:00 - 5:45 am

  • 6:30 - 7:15 am

  • 8:00 - 8:45 am

  • 12:00 - 12:45 pm

  • 4:30 - 5:15 pm

  • 5:45 - 6:30 pm

Class capacity is temporarily reduced: To ensure proper social distancing, both locations are operating with 16 bags available per class time. You will need to BOOK a spot in class before you arrive each day. Think of it like reserving a bag in class. You can BOOK up to 48hrs before a class starts. You will be able to BOOK a Monday class starting on Saturday

Class Format & Equipment

 

Who is missing the bag work?  

We know the feeling! So to make sure you get as much action on the bag as possible, every class will include kickboxing. That's right, kickboxing 6 days, Mon -Sat. Each class will incorporate both kickboxing and strength training - that's what I call a Level 10 workout!

Dedicated equipment: We have designed the mat space and placed bags to ensure at least six feet of distance between students. All equipment (bag, bands, medicine ball) will only be used by one student per class - no sharing. All equipment will be sanitized after each use.

If you've purchased your own set of bands, you are encouraged to bring them and use them during class everyday. If you would like to purchase your own, here are package options. We will still have bands available that you can use during class, but you will check them out before class and return them before you leave. They will not be hanging on the wall anymore so we can ensure they are sanitized between use.

In-Facility Policies

 

We would like to highlight a few of our new or modified policies to keep everyone safe & healthy. These will be updated when restrictions change or as needed.

  • No showers or water fountains

  • No children or additional visitors during class

  • Face masks are not required to enter facility

  • No physical interactions (high fives, fist bumps, handshakes, hugs, etc)

  • Gloves & wraps will not be available to borrow, but can be purchased new

  • If you're not feeling well, stay home.

Virtual Workouts

 

We are committed to continue to provide new daily virtual workouts for those who are unable to come to class or uncomfortable coming to class. The daily classes will continue to be posted in the Farrell’s Ankeny FIT Member groups on facebook at 7:30 each night. We will also continue to post fun extras for everyone to enjoy!
